When she died I found
comfort in your arms
As you became the
sand for my ocean of tears
And I know it couldn’t
be easy to see me cry for another women
But you knew I held
my children pain and fears
Strangers introduced
themselves in a home that didn’t expect them
And gave us all their
worries and concerns
And there were some
who went from strangers to judges
Never stopped being a
father they had to learn
With my children you
become the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen
Your heart
transformed into a sparkling gem
And I watch how you
took your support and love for me
And placed it inside
of each one of them.
And I couldn’t ask
for anything more
Than for us to grow
more after this fall
I watched you become the love of my life
My eternal all and
all.
