MISSING YOU
I hope you didn’t
leave this world hating me
Because you left this
world with me loving you
And though we never saw
eye to eye, the one thing we could see
That raising our
children together we could do
I never pictured them
without their mother
Wondering the effects
that would make them change
A daughter alone with
two brothers
A son’s love out of
range
Hearing stories of
you from them
Making me laugh and
then make me cry
Because they remind
me so much of who you had been
And then reminded me
that you left to the sky
I just wished I had
more time
Where we could have
moved on to being friends
Advising each other
what was best for us
And staying connected
until the very end.
Had to get this out
