I’LL WAIT FOR YOU
So I’m not your type
and I’m not blind
That I’m the last
person to be with ever on your mind
And with all the
torture of mistrust that love has put you through
To never find love
again in anyone, I don’t blame you
But your faith in God
is radical, I see more than your words.
When you talk God
allows me to see them as stars, flowers, and birds.
So even if you never
understand how connected I am to your heart
I pray that in spirit
we can worship in the beauty of God’s art
For God is wonderful,
amazing, inspiring, and brand new
And if we had never
met, we both believe that to be true
So please believe me
when I say that someday
That I would hold
your glass heart in the most beautiful way
And when the day
finally comes with pride I will rise
Tears down my eyes waiting
for you to come by my side
And when you finally
do our hearts we will send
to present to our
Lord and Savior, the I-we-him
……..But of course
that just a vision of what we could come to
