Fate

 When God gave us chrildren he made us God’s of their fate.

 

Children either live with their God in them or rebel with their God shadowing them.

 

But we are Gods all the same…

The Scream

 

 

She screamed out at me

Loud, long, and non-understanding

Her eyes filled with tears while looking and demanding

For an answer I didn’t know how to give

 

At least I didn’t have an answer then

When I hear it now I know exactly what she said

The dooming betrayal that lies in the back of her head

And nothing will ever make it better

 

And it goes like this:

 

I can’t believe you chose for worst instead of better

Going to a path that I can’t follow because I truly love you

And because you took that path, how can I believe you when you tell me I love you

When I thought our love was the same

 

But you brought someone in

You gave them your smile, your heart, your passion

Your fire, your earth, your water, your air, and your compassion

All these things you said that were meant for me

 

And now you hold everything I gave to you

Every dream that I wanted in a man as a child

Every unkind word that was said about you, I exiled

Never for a moment thinking we weren’t one

 

And now here I stand with new feelings

Confused, Disbelieved, vexed with rage, and sad

Looking and searching for when everything went bad

The reason beyond reason

 

My knight and shining armor was only a wolf in sheep’s clothing

But if you still think you’re my knight, by all means explain why

Cause nothing you can say won’t sound like a lie
