I know there is a kingdom for you in Heaven

No matter the time and place

Where peace is ever existing

No matter the pain, perception, or race

So if you die now yes I will morn

But also I’ll remember the crown

IN THE MIDST

You have been favored, though others will not see

This blessing of praise only seen by me.

Surrounded by those who truly do not know

The faithfulness you carry, the love for me you grow

Standing when they want you to fall, almost breaking when its rough

Your heart cries from the sky without precipitation

And you question what did you do to be in this situation

You did nothing my love but bring me the greatest joy and gift

Let me respect you

When I came to get her

She wore a dress that the average would say is fine.

So I grabs her some men’s pants to cover her behind. 

Confused she tried again to cause sexual tension between us two. 

I looked her in the eyes and said “Let start the interview.”

She began to ask me questions 

What I like and what I drink

And I answered them all honestly as much as I could think. 

We exchanged a couple laughs and frowns

Innocent with a couple warnings.

Mentioned my wife in the conversations all around 

She is my greatest blessing in the morning.

She walked out the door and smiled.

She truly had met a true friend.

So, I’m not going to say hello or give any formalities.

And you love the time he spends with you when I am away.

See that the way my husband is, I don’t fault you how he gets in your head.

POWER OVER YOU

 

Anger exist without a shadow of a doubt

And it clouds your decision on how to let it out

But more importantly the question that is due

Is how on Earth does anyone have power over you?

 

You don’t understand the question so let me explain.

And hopefully save you from a lot of pain.

See anger is the one emotion that doesn’t just deal with self.

But can be sent out in action on everybody else.

 

See I knew a guy once who made it difficult to love.

And made every attempt to break my spirit above.

And once he made me snap by pressing that dial,

I watched him stand back and he gave me a smile

 

That when I knew to let time flow.

And that anger is emotion that comes and go.

So I’ll ask you again just to let it stew.
