BEAUTY IN THE STRUGGLE

 Fallen down on hard times and just continue falling.

Every time you get one up, the expert comes knocking and calling.

And just when you are ready to give up all your trouble

You open your eyes to see the beauty in the struggle.

It may be the bowling, the skating, the bar, the concert, the show.

That will give the sense of comfort and the strength to get up and go.

It could be the walk, the hike, the exercise, or the TV.

That could ease your mind from the world and make everything feel easy.

It may be in the church, in meditation, or the family and friends you never get rid of.

That show you everyday is Thanksgiving as long as you show some love.

...........It could be in the orange butterfly.

............Such beauty in the struggle.

 There is something about seeing death that no one likes to admit.

The breath that never stops just gives up and quits.

The memory that they leave you is the greatest of all time.

Makes you think of your own life and what you will leave behind.

Your eyes will be awoken and in life a new song.

You will worry less about what people think is wrong.

You will follow your own path that only you can create or destroy.

You will create your own happiness, your own love, your own joy.

There is no time limit for this death for it is nothing that can be seen.

The truth that always existed even well before COVID 19. 

For the love one you lost will forever make you whole.

Making you live on and live on knowing they brought love to your soul. 

Self Care In The Desert

 

You were aware of self care.

A vision beyond required going to a place where no one wasn’t there. 

Except the one who always love and lives in you. 

You had to get way from followers and even close people who were always at the venue. 

I feel you chose the sand because it’s firm in its duty. 

A place that shows no growth but you can see all its beauty. 

And because faith, hope, and love is the richness of wealth.

You spent some time with the source alone giving you faith and hoping to give more love from yourself. 

But lo and behold your enemy was there. 

Trying to give you more than what you needed of nothing you could share. 

But you had everything you seek even if it required suffering and pain. 

So your enemy being there was a training ground to glorify his name. 

Don’t know if you knew or not but I’m sure that desert made it clear. 

That the path ahead was similar to what you experienced there. 

Your love, his love, will never ever dry. 

And will water is us in the desert whenever we ask why. 

People never forget the path that you’re walking to. 

There will be those who don’t want you to. 

get away from those who want to see you fall. 

Take self care in the desert for the sake of them all. 

 

Good Soil

Plant a good seed and watch how it grows.

But watch what soil you put it in, for the soil knows.

Exactly what it desires and how it will end.

By Earth, Fire, thorn, or maybe a multitude of true friends. 

Listen to your Garden, let you speak as one. 

To bring it warmth when it’s cold so it can shade you in the sun. 

Put it in a place where no one will be allowed

Except the people that feel the same way out loud. 

Do you not realized your enemy knows you? 

His sole purpose and desire is to take your peace. 

As a Garden as beautiful as you, why would you give him that? 

Remember ……..you have good soil.

Loving you at night

 

You may never know this while you sleep

That I kiss you every night

Small nudges to make you smile

And let you know everything is alright

I find myself staring 

Just wondering one thought

How did I become so lucky

A jewel even in sleep I sought

Whispering sweet daily love affirmations 

In your ears silently they would hear

Watching as your getting out of bed

Giving you looks like I wanted you near

Enjoying the day texting you 

Telling you everything that feels right

Enjoying talks in the evening

Enjoying loving you at night. 

 

Who Do You Say I Am

 

In the near present or future.

There will be plenty a time.

That those who know me not will judge.

According to what they think is divine.

I will never be what they want

And love them the best I can

Only thing matters is the ones who spent time with me.

who do you say that I am?

Do you remember the love I gave?

Was the time spent together true?

Did you do something disrespectful to me?

Did I do something to offend you?

Was our friendship truly genuine

that no one can tell you anything else

If the world came and lied to you

Could you stand on what you know yourself? 

For there will come a time

Where everyone will be against me

And they will refuse to hear you

Or allow you to help freely

So as long as it’s in your heart

That you and I are a living lamb

The world can say and do whatever it feels

I know exactly who I am.

Finding your beauty again

One of the most beautiful things in the world.

Comes from suffering, hurt, and cost.

When you think the world no longer loves you.

From the beauty that you lost. 

What the world would see as abnormal.

To the point you are so inclined to agree.

Yet you refuse to hold your head down.

And realize nothing around you is ugly.

You find peace in yourself 

And no longer what they say

Your thankful to be alive

Cause it’s possible you couldn’t be everyday.

You find truth in the small things

The bigs things can wait till they come

You reflect the elegance of the moon

And carry inside the fierceness of the sun

Your words become gentle as the breeze

And your actions absolute as the morning dew

To the point that others will see you unbothered.

And shocked at the beauty radiating all around you. 

Oh what a most wonderful sight to see.

When you realized you are your greatest friend.

When you realized nothing is wrong with you.

When you’re finding your beauty again. 

Dont give up

 

They were your everything

And now they are the memories 

Of the best days of your life

And the bad that made them an enemy. 

You don’t know how much you can take.

Finding someone or meeting someone new.

And the worst fear is that they will break your heart.

To the point you feel that no one will do. 

I share your pain in a distant time. 

Happiness in my own skin

Then a wolf in sheep clothing tugs on my heart

Begging me to let them in. 

So I feel you when you say that you are done

There just one favor I have to ask you. 

If the next one comes around. 

Could you give him a chance too?

Because I promise that the love you are seeking. 

They will be coming around. 

It’s similar to the love you feel

when God is holding you down. 

It will be worth the last 

and the last before

To the point when you think about it. 

You don’t even remember the hurt anymore. 

If your done, then you are DONE

And that I can respect. 

But if you feel that you have so much love to give. 

Then just maybe it might be the next. 

Don’t give up……….They are waiting for you.
