I know who you are and don’t blame you
For you walk a path in knowing not what you do.
I’ve seen you entice the greatest of women and men
They give their money, power, and life for you
And when they have forsaken others and given their all.
You leave them and stand by the door again.
Saying everything the next wants to hear
Making them forget the stress of life as you pull them in.
Not going to lie I met you once in my youth
And I thought that it was so real
For you truly know the desires of a man
But do not seed him for growth or give him water to heal.
I fear for my brothers and sisters that become vulnerable to you
Will try my best to explain to them how
And just know when you come near me and what’s mine
That it will work on me no longer cause I recognize you now.
